What are Virtual Visits?

• Tele-dentistry visits are scheduled and conducted remotely with Dr. Ferguson or Dr. Cocchia.
• Available for consultations, new patient interviews and evaluation of dental concerns.
• Virtual visits are typically free and are a good option for patients who would like to discuss their concerns before coming to the office. Patients can better show and describe issues over video than just phone - you can point to areas of your face or mouth and swelling may even be evident.
• Virtual visits are HIPAA compliant and are are a secure connection between you and your dentist

Prior to your Tele-dentistry Visit

• Please forward your most recent dental X-rays to frontdesk@fergusondental.com (Record Release Form).
• Complete your New Patient Online Form and your COVID-19 Health Screening and Consent Form.
• Check that your browser or mobile device is compatible with our secure connection, see chart below.

How Does it Work?

• A few minutes before your scheduled visit, you will receive a link to join the video call.
• If you experience trouble connecting, please make sure you are using an up-to-date browser or connection on your computer. We recommend Chrome or Safari.
• Mobile devices also work well including Safari on iOS and Chrome or Firefox on Android.
• You may be prompted to allow audio or video access. Please make sure that your device volume is not set to mute.
• If you are disconnected, click the link that was sent to you again.
